Plan to Address Accessibility Features
- Add alternative text to images and alternative text associated with them.
- Provide navigational aids on as many pages as possible. Incorporate skip navigation links to facilitate keyboard navigation and to bypass groups of links on a page and jump directly to main content.
- Use title attributes to make linked text more meaningful or to indicate if the link opens a new browser window.
- Use structural markup to indicate headings and lists to provide aid in page comprehension.
- Associate labels and instructions on filling out forms to the parent form in order to make forms available to screen reader users.
- Provide table navigation instructions and associate all data cells with their respective headers.
